Do smaller meals help?

Has anyone notice that by eating smaller meals that their symptoms improve? I have noticed over the past few days that when i eat smaller meals my LPR symptoms improve dramatically, i even ate pizza last night! I usually have slight breathing problems after meals(i can only describe it as a "huffy" feeling), and the constant feeling of needing to cough.

Re: Do smaller meals help?

Yes, smaller meals make my stomach feel better. I think I have an ulcer though as I have been diagnosed yet. I'm hungry all the time though becasue small meals don't fill me up.

Re: Do smaller meals help?

yes definetly small meals help . Its better to eat small snacks/ meals rather than 3 big meals a day. I find the lighter I eat & healthier the better my condition is by far.

Yes, the smaller meals help me too, but so does PRELIEF. I ate Mexican food last night with NO ILL AFFECTS. I had never tried this before until I had IC (bladder disease) and it was recommended on that board. Turns out it helps the GUT TOO with eating.

Buy it at Wally World....and CVS and other places. I got mine at CVS. It prevents ACID before it happens. It's different than anything anti-acid I've ever taken before.

Might want to give it a try if you feel so led.

Re: Do smaller meals help?

LPR stands for Laryngopharyngeal Reflux disease and it is a form of acid reflux disease that affects the throat and larnyx. it differs from GERD in that sufferers do not normally experience any heartburn. It occurs when acid reaches the throat and voice box. common symptoms are cough, lump in throat, and hoarseness.
