swollen lymph nodes (again) - Acid Reflux / GERD Message Board

i've had swollen lymph nodes on my neck for about a year and a half. a couple others on this forum, i found out, have had similar problems. i just wanted to see if any others are having it now or if those who were having it have gotten any better/worse. i ask because i'm still a little worried about the lymph nodes and have recently been itching like crazy which is one symptom of lymphoma. so hearing from others with this problem who have GERD or LPR would be a bit of a relief. i think the itching could be something else and have been to the doctor about it, but the treatments he's given me haven't worked so i'm starting to wonder.

Hi am wondering where you live?? Do you have fevers, muscle aches, knee pain, bran fog ect...??? There has got to be a reason for the swollen lymph nodes. They are trying to keep something at bay...I had the acid reflux and wound up havng Lyme Disease...just a thought...

nah, i don't think i have any of those symptoms. my guess is the lymph nodes could be swollen from irritation in that area. i mean my throat has been blistered for 2 1/2 years from my lpr.

Hey there...I've got swollen glands too. They are buggin me out

They started after 2 months of Protonix.....then to Aciphex and now Generic Prilosec.

So I don't really know if it's from LPR (my throat is red with white patches) or the meds. I get headaches also.

The swelling seems to be in my salivary glands; under my chin like pellets and the other salivary glands.

Don't know if doctor's think of this as a side-effect...only patients think so. The pharma companies don't.

Hey gnz, I still have mine under my chin as well. It has been over a year now. I first felt mine after a month of being on generic prilosec but I am not sure if they were there before then or not. I stopped the prilosec for some time but my heartburn came back so now I take nexium.

I have ask my general doctor about them many times and he says he is not concerned about them. I finally talked him into sending me to an ENT who also does not seem concerned. I'm really not sure what to think.

I do have alot of aches and pains as well but I have no idea if or how they are related. It such is tough to live life with an unknown like this hanging over my head!!!
