The answer for me was probiotics - I was so surprised.
Made a mistake though - took one capsule for several days, then increased to 2 - one am then before bedtime. It helped a lot within a week, then after three weeks it had helped so much, I stopped taking them - that was a mistake. Within a couple of days, it had regressed. So started again - again the improvement was within a few days.
I took some myself but they caused heartburn so I quit, I really think I need them because the year before I got this reflux I was on large doses of antibiotics multiple times. I may try again

Katt
katt, you were on antibiotics for a while? look at my post under digestive disorders "antibiotics the cause," and reply to that. do you think the antibiotics are the cause of your probs?
Well, I thought antibiotics remove the good flora and we eat live culture yogurt, etc. to replace it. I thought I was eating enough all along to do that plus I was taking Tums b/c of the calcium. Much later, I found the probiotics replace the good flora that's missing in my system. Have I missed something?
