| Re: constant burping?
Well, I'm not exactly the same as you apparently, but close enough. My main symptom all these months (since this horror started) has been "burping" - I feel like the sphincters both bottom and/or top open up and air(etc) just ripples on up. The 1st days I knew I was in trouble, that was why - I was constantly burping, and I mean every minute at least. Literally.
But the really crazy thing is I almost always hiccup with the burping. 1 or 2 burps, then 2 or 3 (generally slow, public-unnoticeable) hiccups, then burp again. The same basic pattern all the time. I never hiccup without a burp, but I have sometimes burped without hiccups.
And I do not have trouble at night, or lying down. I could be burping alot that day, then lie down and it stops. Doesn't matter if it's bedtime or a nap in the afternoon.
I think I've noticed an additional pattern that oftentimes, when I "verticalize" (sit up from lying, stand from sitting, etc), I burp-hiccup.
I swear, I don't know how this doesn't point to nerve problems. But maybe it's like the doctor said "could be from the gastritis/esophagitis" (plus, I'm LPRD - warm, etc, throat is main reaction symptom).
