My dad has gout PLEASE HELP ME! no sure if in right place sorry :( - Acid Reflux / GERD Message Board

Hi i have recently found out my dad has gout i was wondering if anyone could please xplain tis disease to me as it seems like there not alot of open information about it. All i know now is its because he eats and ddrinks to much and i think it has something to do with acid PLEASE HELP ME!

You can get gout from eating alot of fatty foods. I don't know about acidity foods. I have a family member with it, I think it gets in the joints and I know it causes alot of pain. There is a general health board where someone might have a better answer for you.
