| Re: Docs new diagnosis, opinions please
Interesting. I'm not going to rule it out, why can't it be a possibility? Am curious if this same doctor has ever seen a patient before who has LPR? Just exploring the possibility that he is already familiar with motility problems, and that if you have LPR, the LPR is new to him?
Without sounding glib, I am extremely "regular" if you know what I mean. But I encourage it and help it along. Whenever I have my favorite breakfast, I can assure regularity shortly thereafter. I'll have 1/2 a cup of Kellogg's All-Bran Cereal (13 grams of fiber per serving) mixed with 1/2 a cup of another slightly less fibrous but still healthy cereal (like Health Valley's Oat Bran Flakes) topped off with about 1/2 a cup of berries (usually fresh blueberries, but sometimes raspberries, strawberries, or a mixture of them all). I usually chase this with 1 small cup of coffee (doesn't bother the reflux that bad if just 1 cup), and then within 10 minutes I'm running for the loo. All-Bran is magic. And I know you have it in the UK.
