Has anyone experienced these symptoms.

Constant burning in the upper and lower throat after eating or drinking? Food or drink can make it worse, howerver the burn seems to be their most of the time although the severity of the burn fluxuates.

Chest pain in the middle of you chest, sharp stabing pains that can be intermittent with pressure in the middle like someone is sitting on your chest.

Upper stomach pain right under the strenum, get full easy and have a lot of gas. Seem to burp and fart constanctly.

Feeling depresseed about symptoms, GI doc has run many test with no conclusive evidience of GERD. However, I'm going for a Bravo Test and scope within the next couple of weeks. I hope they find something that can explain what's going on.

Do these symptoms fit the GERD criteria. If so, what can I do to help with this problem. I getting frustrated, the quality of my life sucks and i need to find some relief.

Hi Jim,

You described my symptoms to the T!!! Are you my twin??? I know it is frustrating. This stuff has thrown me into anxiety attacks because it is so hard to deal with. I am sure once you get the endoscopy, it will show something. What tests did your GI send you for that came out negative? My GI didn't waste time he went directly to the endoscope to see what was going on. Are you on any meds? PPIs are tricky, don't use them for too long because for me the side effects were worst than dealing with the GERD symptoms. I am trying to deal with this naturally using acupuncture and apple cider vinegar. I have noticed a difference even though I only have had one treatment. I wish you luck.

I almost have all the symptoms that you described. wow...Lots of people here with similar symptoms.

Mike, a question for you.
Is the Apple Cidar Vinegar working for you?
I heard about it today and someone mentioned that Apple Cidar Vinegar + honey would help better the GERD symptoms. I googled it and found some interesting articles as well.
Not sure if anyone here tried and felt better.

I started out with a real bad pain behind the sternum bone, it lasted for 2 weeks and felt like somebody had smashed me in the chest with a sledge hammer. Then it felt like I had a baseball lodged in my throat. I went to the doctor and he said I had Gerd. I guess it eroded my throat a little bit. Whatever you do take care of it because it is very hard to heal once you get an ulcer in there!

Hi Paul, I have been taking it for about a week now on a consistant basis. To be honest yes it has helped. I have not taken a PPI or a antiacid in the last few days. You have to make sure if you are doing it, get the organic raw apple cider vinegar and that you dilute it. I find that 1 teaspoon in about 4 oz of water is a good amount to start with then adjust accordingly on how you feel. I take it twice a day on an empty stomach. I don't use the honey. Also I use a straw to keep it off the teeth since I read it can damage your tooth enamel. Good Luck with it.
