Hi, if you are talking about the endoscope don't be scared. I was scared out of my MIND. I even went in to the room crying. They put you out and you don't remember a thing! Hopefully your experience will be like mine and many many others. Do you know what they are using to knock you out? I was given versed and something else. Versed is great!
Hi there. I am having an endoscopy Friday and I'm really not nervous at all. I had a colonoscopy earlier this year so I figure if I can get through that, then I can get through this one. I am having the procedure because I am having reflux and chest pain (that is supposedly not cardiac related). How about you?
I am having swallowing issues food sticks to back of throat. I have never really felt heartburn only occassionally. The doc does not seemed conderend about it but I am petrified. I have never had anything invasive like that done.
I am a worry wort and always think the worse case scenario. My 51 year old sis was DX with Barretts in May so of course I am stressed out about that. Doc told me he does not usually see it in women. Well whatever, my sis got it so obviously women do get it......I just wish it was 24 hours from now so this whole thing would be over. I am having such a hard time concentrating at work so this is going to end up being a useless day.
