Does anybody have any suggestions on which alcoholic drink is best with Acid reflux (and I dont' want something that will irritate my throat again). I know it's best not to drink any alcohol but sometimes you go out and want at least one drink. So which drink is the lesser of all alcohol evils?
I haven't tried this one but maybe a White Russian since it has a milky mix in it, to coat your stomach?
I have had to give up alcohol, beer and wine and champagne (my favorite) so maybe you'll have better luck with it.
If you maybe have one beer then it could be ok. I just know that anything with liqour such as Jager or rum whiskey...gives me the worst heartburn. But try to stick to a light beer not something heavy likie Guiness.
You know alcohol is not good if you have acid reflux.
I encouage you not to play games with your problems-- it will just gets worse -- ask any recovering alcoholic--- they just can't have 1 drink and an X smoker -- 1 smoke --- yea right!!!
Are you serious or not about about controlling and curing your problem?
