Was out drinkn last nite, came home and my nose all of a sudden just went totally blocked, couldnt breathe throught it at all, was blowing it like mad and didnt seem to do anything. Does anyones reflux affect their nose, mine always kinda feels blocked altho i can breathe throught it (apart from that incident last night)

The alcohol probably caused the mucous membranes to swell up. Maybe you have an allergy to something in the alcohol. I can't drink any alcohol without eyes swelling and nose closing up. Was told it was an allergy.

When I'm refluxing really bad my nose becomes completely plugged up. For years before being told that I have LPR the doc continually told me that I had sinus problems. My ears would also become plugged up. I took every medicine in the world for sinus and nothing helped. I'm now on nexium twice a day and it has helped my sinus problem completely.
