Vitamins? - Acid Reflux / GERD Message Board

Hi!

I am going to a Chripractor for my back. He wants me to start on Osteo-B Plus. I don't take Vites because when I have tried, quite a few, it gives me more acid.

Just curious to know if anyone else has this problem? If you can take any what agree's with you?

Mega vit's don't agree with me at all, nor fish oil. I can only take something like Centrum.

I have had good luck with Alive, Whole Food Energizer by Nature's Way. I've found it best to just take one with each meal rather than three at one time. You might compare to see if it meets the mineral dosage of the supplement your Dr. recommended.

I have to take any kind of supplement on a full stomach. Found out, if I don't, it makes me really nauseous, get stomach cramps and even vomit (yeah TMI). Try taking smaller doses more often, like with every meal.

The fats in your food also help to distribute the nutrients through your body, so it's better to take supplements with meals anyway.
