Belch Alot & Flutter In Throat - Acid Reflux / GERD Message Board

Hi, (thought I would post on this board as well)
I am new here. I have some symptoms and was just wondering if anyone has had this same experience. I Belch ALOT, stomach burns, i feel a flutter off and on kinda in my throat. The best way to describe the location is..it is near my upper esophegeal sphincter. I have been taking Tagamet 200 and it seems to help a little. I still belch ALOT and sometimes regurgitate (not sure of spelling). This probably seems strange. I sure hope there is someone out there that has had the same symptoms. PLEASE HELP!!

Sounds like many who have gastroesophageal reflux disease. Also could correspond to some other stomach problems with similar symptoms. Don't feel alone. Many of us "belch" (even if it's "silent") alot and have burning stomach and even regurgitate (congratulations, you're a good speller!).

Be careful about posting the same thing twice - yes, even though it's a separate but related board and logical to put it in each. They don't like that here. Don't know why, but they don't.

The fluuters are probably related to esophageal spasms of the upper sphincter...I have that , it's terribe and I get a lump in throat feeling a lot to as well as the flutters.
