Pain from the lowest rib up through the center of the breast and into the shoulder. My Dr. says I have Gerd, have a lot of symtons. I had this really bad yesterday, was painful to sit, has subsided now but still burping up a storm.

I had the same thing at first and always thought it was heart trouble. I pretty much ignored the other GERD problems. What a major mistake and I am now paying the price. If you haven't already, YOU NEED TO CHANGE YOUR LIFESTYLE! Eat healthy, exercise, lose weight, take some prilosec or something your doctor tells you to. The diet changes and exercise alone helped me tremendously. Take this seriously! If I had done this long ago I wouldn't be in the situation I am in now. Thought I was a tough guy, I thought wrong.
