Only 88 lbs.. can I have highblood

I have been having pains and strains and feeling really dizzy and drowsy lately.. the pressure comes from my head goes down to my neck and my back specialy my nape... I am worried about highblood pressure.. but with my weight is it possible to have this? How would I know if I am having highblood pressure since I dont have a sphygmomanometer at home.. I am only 26 and worried I am having a stroke

It IS possible for someone young and little to have HBP, but usually there are no symptoms. Are you doing lots of driving/keyboarding/desk stuff lately? It sounds like a neck strain. But go and get a checkup, never hurts to know what your vital signs are. Cheers, Sera

Re: Only 88 lbs.. can I have highblood

You can by decent blood pressure devices to use at home. You can also just test yourself when you go to larger pharmacies and stores that have the automated BP readers.

But Yes, it is possible to be little and have BP issues. Stress, family tendancies, cholesteral, diabeties, and many other things can aggrevate your blood pressure.

As Seraph48 said, when in doubt get it checked out.

Sincerely,
MG

Thanks for your replies.. I will go see my GP today to check.. the pain in my neck is just getting really bad.. although Seraph48 I also suspect neck strain.. been on the pc quite often lately... well this is the only place I find comfort after having this horrible sickness... I also somehow feel like th epain is coming from the lower back of my head more to the right side, inside the ear down to my nape.. could also be my LPR... anyways will keep u posted thanks guys
