So, I have always had more gas than most people.

However, ever since being diagnosed with acid reflux, it has gotten worse. Not only do I burp up a storm, but I often feel bloated and have gas urges all the time. My stomach and intestines often make "digestive" noises and it's really awkward and embaressing. I live in a dorm so I can't just pass gas whenever or wherever.

Is this a typical symptom of acid reflux or a side effect of Nexium?

I think it's both. I take Protonix not Nexium but really the same type of medication. Do as much walking or moving around as you can this helps the gas escape and stay away from known gassy foods when in close quarters like alot of beans.

yeah it could be both... you should see your doctor for advice. He can give you proper medications..
