I am going to start an elimination diet this Saturday (probably starting with dairy for a week and see if that has any effect, then will move on, wheat etc.). Has anybody tried this? I just want to rule out certain foods as a cause. I do know foods like tomatoes, potatoes, BBQ Sauce cause me problems but I'm wondering what else I might be missing. But one thing I won't do is go on one of those diets where you don't eat anything, I'm already to skinny, going without milk for a week won't make me lose any weight.
By the way, for those who are overweight, a friend of mine who suffered from reflux like me (throat etc.) lost a bunch of weight from exercising and doesnt' eat after dinnertime, he's now been reflux free for 6 weeks. I was never overweight so it won't work for me. In fact I'm underweight, I could use 10 pounds. No easy way out for me.
