anyone ever have a quick pain like spasm just under both ribs, its real fast and feels like a punch almost,,only happens just before a bad bout of reflux,
seems to be gas related , bloating about the same time,

I get the pain just below the ribs all the time. There is pain on both the sides almost all the time. When pressure is applied it hurts a little more. Not sure yet what this causing this pain. The pain moves to the sides as well, at the bottom of the ribcage.
I am taking Nexium 40mg once a day for the Acid reflux.
I work on the computer all day, not sure if the sitting position and the stress is causing this?? Any thoughts? I usually don't pay attention to how I sit at the computer and lean forward all the time.
I get this, also behind left breast (like heart being grabbed) Just felt like a shard of broken glass in gullett all today, rather than a rock or two. Oh how varied and interesting (gnashes teeth)
