Question How Long?
How long does it take for Prevacid to start working? My doc said that it could take up to 3 weeks for me to notice any relief... I have had a really bad last few days, I am not sure what I will be like in 3 weeks...I think I will have pulled out all of my hair and spun into a million panic attacks on the way.

Metabolically to reach saturated blood levels drugs have to be taken for at least two weeks.. the three weeks is a long ball estimate. The two week mark would be a better gauge to measure by.. Anti-biotics are a different creature their metabolic absorption is a bit faster.. normally 48 hours.
