Anyone try aloe vera juice for GERD? I am also taking pepcid and doing diet modification along with the aloe vera juice. Im hoping the aloe vera will help the healing.

I tried it. I had to pay a lot for it at a health food store. And to be honest, I couldn't even choke it down. The taste was so vile I couldn't bring myself to bring it to my lips a second time!

I also drink aloe vera and take Pepcid Complete. The aloe vera tastes bad in the beginning but you get use to it in a couple of weeks. Mix it with water, don't drink it straight.

Manuka honey is also very good, get the 10+ strengh

I've tried it, but I think the preservative they put in most brands is probably counterproductive (just my opinion)
