Upper GI and constipation?

I had an upper GI this morning! It sucked, I thought I was going to puke during it.

Now, my entire stomach has cramped up. I've eatten a lot today, but not a whole lot has come back out, if you know what i mean.

What has has come out soft and orange.

Is that a typical reaction? And how can I, er, fix it?

thank you!

Re: Upper GI and constipation?

An upper GI series? A Fluoroscopy? Had to drink a lot of Barium and whatnot while they did X-rays? I had that done on the 16th. Because the Barium is so thick it can cause constipation so they recommend you drink a lot of liquid that day and for a few after. I don't think it's anything to be concerned about as it is a common after-procedure-effect. If it doesn't clear up though or gets worse, it wouldn't hurt to call and ask a Dr.
