I had LPR for about 6 months. I recently switched my HBP medicine from an ace inhibitor to an ABT (I think thats what it is). My throat stopped hurting or bothering me about 3 weeks ago. I still wake up from time to time when sleeping but I no longer have that sore throat in the morning. I can actually speak in a normal voice. On the downside I seem to have more heartburn and burning in stomach then I had before. Almost like the acid is staying lower. Can't win with this stuff. Anyway, if you have LPR you might want to see what medicines your on, try changing them and see what happens. ACE inhibitors are well known to affect the throat area.
