I am on 40 mg protonix daily and I have been doing much better past few months since taking but this morning I had a very bad episode of severe naseau and reflux/burning inthroat. My symptoms b4 were mostly severe naseau but since on the protonix and changed diet I have not had it as severe and only small episodes of stomache upset but nothing that would make me not be able to function like this mornings episode. I have read about some natural cures (like dgl licorece?) and wondered if anyone takes something when having a bad episode that helps and are also on a PPI med at same time. I dont want to cause another problem cause I took something else while on PPI. I am eating an apple now to ease the naseau as heard that works too plus took two maalox chewables early this morning when first awoke with sickness.
