Prevacid Dissolvables
Does anyone take Prevacid dissolvable tabs?
I have a weird side effect that I don't know if it is normal or not.
I take it and it makes my esophagus burn on the way down when I swallow after its dissolved on my tongue.
It also makes my esophagus and throat feel tight and constricted.
Does anyone else have weird side effects with this?

hmm.. I have had good experiences with it and I take it every day. I wonder if the burning is because of the damage from your reflux. I would ask the doctor about it, you may need to just take the gelcaps.

Also, one more question...
Is it safe to take over the counter antacids like Gaviscon with Prevacid?

hey.. sorry for the delayed response I've been away.. yes you can take both. My doctor actually told me to take Gaviscon before I go to bed since my worst reflux is at night.
