DGL Question

I know that the whole premise behind DGL is the compund is removed that can cause high blood pressure. However, I have always had normal blood pressure until my last two visits to the GI doc. I guess its possible that my blood pressure is higher for some other reason but the only change has been I started taking DGL for my reflux. Is there anyway this could still cause a rise in systolic blood pressure despite the products claim?

Re: DGL Question

anybody have any insight into this? My blood pressure readings are slightly down now since I stopped taking the DGL but is it even possible they were related? If not I would love to start taking the DGL again since it seemed to soothe my esophagus

Re: DGL Question

My blood pressure did rise when I used DGL last year.

I have read several places where it did have this side effect for some people. It seems many never have a problem with it.

It raised mine so I don't use it now. My blood pressure returned to normal after a few days.
