| Taking OTC Antacids and Can't get rid of Hearburn
I have had HORRIBLE heartburn all morning.
I was fine when I woke up. I drank my usual morning cup of tea (non caffeinated lemon ginger tea) and indugled on an ice cream sandwich and now I have a horrible burning in my stomach and a bitter taste in my throat that won't go away.
I've taken like 3 tablespoons of Gaviscon but it is still there.
Please someone help. What can I take to get rid of this?
I usually have a burning feeling in my stomach that doesn't go away so I am used to that.
But lately anything I eat or drink makes the burning in my stomach worse.
I have tried bland, plain food, I don't eat spicy food anymore, nothing fried.
Baked potatoes, soup, etc.. and no matter what it is I burn.
I was told that this could be gallbladder when you get sicker after you eat.
Is that true?
I don't have health insurance so I can't see the doctor.
What can I do for at home treatment? Anyone?
