constant throat constriction - Acid Reflux / GERD Message Board

I have constant throat constriction with no other symptoms. I have had the tests for Gerd and Lpr but they all come back negative. The constriction has actually spread up my airway to my sinuses. The new symtom is a dry cough. Could someone give me some advice or point me to how I can find people on this site who have similar symptoms?

I have that but I do have LPR and Esophagitis.... what kind of Dr. tested you. THat is what it sounds like to me. Have you seen an ENT and a GI?
An ent will diagnose your LPR ( a lot of GI's don't believe in LPR) but a GI can do an endoscopy to rule anything else out in the esophagus.

i too have the constant throat constriction along with tons of mucous in my throat,,I have a cough too that recently started. Whenever I cough, a little mucous comes up into my mouth. I have been on prilosec for a few months and it doesnt help with the constriction and mucous. My sinuses are ALWAYS messed up. If I look at my throat in the mirror I can actually see the mucous sticking to the back of my throat. Best of luck to you.
