SO the doctor found no damage to my esophagus. Just said I had minor gastritis. He put me on Zegerid which was a lot better then other PPI's and trust me I have had my share (nexium, protonix, aciphex, prevacid).

My question is why and how I got gastritis and what problem do I have ?

My Info:
28 yr old male
not overweight
regular workout
healthy diet (no burgers fries and reklatively no fatty food)

My symtoms:
1). Extreme Nausea all day especially after eating
2). Migraines
3). throat discomfort
4). Irregular stools (some day diarhea, some day pellet like stool)---makes me feel i have Irritable Bowel syndrome but it could be the PPI causing the diarhea.

I have been to 4 gastro doctors and 2 internists and 1 ENT specialist. I have had all the tests (chest/ head cat scans, 2 endoscopies, blood tests) and they all come back normal. BUT I KNOW SOMETHING IS WRONG!!!!!

I have done extensive research and cant pinpoint it.

Join the club, i'm right there with you...

It's amazing how so many of us have the same symptoms but yet the Dr's can't help us. They say it's LPR but yet PPI's don't seem to work. I myslef have been to 3 ENT, 4 gasto's, 2 pulmonologists, and 1 psychiatrist for all the craziness this has made me

My last endoscopy pointed to esophagitis but I have been on Aciphex for a while now with no results....
I am not overweight, don't eat badly and this just popped out of nowhere. I wake up and can't breathe, I feel like someone has lodged a golfball in my throat. I get stomach pains and am bloated all day.
I have had my gallbladder out already, have you had that checked?

I have sympathy for you..... just know you're not alone.

just something to think about - have you explored the possibility that these symptoms might be due to a food allergy or intolerance? Perhaps you could start keep a food log to see if you find any correlation. Best to you.

lol tried everything snowflake. thing that gets to me is im only 28 and getting it. Im physically fit and all. I just cant pin point it. I have no pylori, no hernia. Have had 2 endoscopies. Im to the point where Im abt to leav ethe country and go back live with my parents for a while. lol maybe the change in scenery will get rid of it.
