Can you take Pepcid AC with Prilosec?

Just wondering
I take Prilosec before meals, but can I take a Pepcid AC before I go to bed?

You take Prilosec 3x a day? Yeah, you can take them together, but they need to be spaced a few hours apart, so as long as supper is like 6 and bedtime 10 or so you should be ok.

Re: Can you take Pepcid AC with Prilosec?

Prilosec is a PPI and Pepcid is a H2 Blocker, they work differently.

My husband takes a PPI before breakfast and dinner. He takes his H2 first thing in the morning and before bed.

I would rather be safe and get an opinion on which medications would best work for you, a medical opinion. Not a great idea to self diagnose and treat.
