I had an elective colonoscopy due to my age and because I had a positive stool hemmocult in the past I was also given an endoscopy. Well the colonoscopy was normal but they found a good sized lipoma in the duodenum. It was biopsied and found to be just that - a lipoma. Has anyone ever heard of this and how should it be followed? I do have acid reflux and have had a lot of digestion problems since I was diagnosed with pernicious anemia 2 years ago - a lot of symptoms were related to that problem. Could there be a connection to the pernicious anemia and the lipoma? I have a lot of unanswered questions. Any thoughts, advice or anecdotal answers would be so appreciated. Thanks.
