Just wondering if anyone has had the stretta procedure for their reflux?? My husband had an attempted stretta last year. They got to step 2 and had to stop due to an airway and breathing problem. Anyway the next day we ended up at the e.r. due to severe bloating and pain , the doc said it was normal and sent him home. Since that attempt at surgery his stomach has gotten much worse , it has continued to get even worse the last month or so. He has the usual reflux symptoms -- gagging , food shooting back up into his mouth for awhile after he eats it , vomitting at times. He also bloats can't eat much without getting nausea and has stomach pain. I just wondered what experience any of you may have had after the Stretta. We are going to see a gI doc in a few weeks.
