| Re: stomach hurts/bloating/gas pressure
Hi,
I was reading about gallbladder issues this morning in a book about blended medicine.
Gallbladder stores bile, the fluid that aids in the digestion of fats. Bile is composed of a mixture of things, mostly cholesterol and bile acids. As the food leaves the stomach, the gallbladder contracts and squirts the bile into small intestine.
Symptoms of gallstones shortly after eating: pain in upper right abdomen, radiating to shoulder blades, subsiding after an hour. Accompanied by indigestion, bloating, feeling of fullness in upper abdomen, vomiting, fever. One does not have to have all the symptoms. Sometimes the only one people get is the pain.
Your symptoms sound similar to the above. I think you should also look up fat digestion and fat absorption. Perhaps you have a digestive disorder - excess or deficiency of enzymes or bile salts so cannot properly absorb (or digest) the fats.
