I was taking Lanzoprozale 15mg for 4 years to reduce burning and acid and they worked. About 4 months ago I started getting other stomach problems such as gas, cramps, bloated feeling, the whole bag infact. My doctor increased the dosage to 30mg per day.

This had no effect whatsoever in improving the situ.

Well, by chance when on holiday in Scotland I forgot to pack the Lanzoprozale. Guess what?, After 1 week, the stomach problems completed resolved. Two Months later My stomach is fine and I can eat normally, apart from the bouts of burning which I can cope with as opposed to the crippling side effects of Lanzoprozale.

How strange, my body started to reject the medicine after 4 years as if to say ' I need the acid '.

I have posted before but cannot find the old post. Any one else expereinced the same
