Endoscopy Results-Frustrated - Acid Reflux / GERD Message Board

Everything came back normal, no bacteria just gastritis. I am still not eating and have loss of appetite with hunger pains. The PA was concerned and ordered CT scans to make sure it is nothing else. She also said gastritis should not make me lose my appetite and have nausea. I thought those were symptoms of gastritis. I am so frustrated and upset I feel like this is never going to go away. My doc is puzzled also since I have no pain at all in my stomach. Do you think maybe it can be something else besided gastritis? Any responses would be appreciated. Thanks!

Maybe it's your gallbladder.

Well I asked my doc and she said probably not since I dont have any pain. Ill ask again next time.

when i had gastritis i had terrible nausea and loss of appetite. It did clear up after several months. I probably shud have gone to an alternative doc for a blood test for h pylori which can be cleared up with antibiotics. The gastritis may be due to something else but at least the blood test would indicate if I did have h.pylori.

What happens when u do eat? Do u get any symptoms?
