ppi not working very well the last few days - Acid Reflux / GERD Message Board

I am sick right now with a cold not sure if that has anything to do with it. But my acid seems to be acting up again. Still have the coughing fits with the tickle but now I am getting so much pain.. Gerd pain in my back and chest up into my jaw. I havent had this in awhile now all the sudden the pains are acting up..I think as soon as I feel better from the cold Im going to go see the Doctor and find out if I can get an endoscopy done.

I think if you have never had a scope done that you certainly should. I have LPR and feel like I have a cold all the time. Or sinus infections (which, I do) In fact, that's what started all my GERD/LPR business. I just thought I had a cold. Lost my voice, couldn't breath. Well, it's the longest cold in history because it's been going on 10 yrs now. I do feel like the Nexium helped heal my stomach but I continue to have bad flares of LPR even taking Nexium twice a day. I really don't think any amt would help me.
