Lump in throat - Acid Reflux / GERD Message Board

I just started Nexium two days ago and last night I started to feel like I have a lump in my throat. I woke up this morning and I feel the same way.. Now, this something I have never had before.. I have LPR, by the way... And it really started acting up a couple of days ago so I decided to take my prescription...Do you think the Nexium could be the cause of the lump in my throat sensation? Thanks

I have the lump in the throat feeling because of the LPR. Ideally Nexium is supposed to help but it did nothing for me. In fact, I felt worse while taking it. I had body aches and my symptoms were actually worse. My dr. didn't believe this was possible but the aching feeling was gone once I stopped taking the Nexium. Nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to meds and the side effects they can cause.
