does anyone feel discomfort or pain in their back when eating?
I guess I spoke too soon when I posted I was much better, well I am much better but I just ate yougurt right now and I experienced the ache in my upper and mid back. I think this is what scares me most is pain when eating. I see many here have experienced back pain but do you ever feel it when eating? I didn't feel it so much in the front of my chest, just my back so I know it is my esophagus.

Hi Packer,
How do you know that if it is your upper back its the esophogus? I am just curious and have so many variable and 'unexplainable' symptoms that I am trying to figure out - any help would be greatly appreciated.
Re: does anyone feel discomfort or pain in their back when eating?
Hi Vanessa, Well I am not positive it is but I really think it is because it happens during eating when I am swallowing although today, I had none of the discomfort so go figure. I was just thinking it could be small spasms when I am eating or maybe I have a stricture or something. But funny how I ate pretty good today and haven't felt it so far when eating. This is a crazy condition for sure!
Re: does anyone feel discomfort or pain in their back when eating?
packer,
the only time I feel pain when eating is when I have the throat/ear thing happening. What do you think is the cause of yours?
I am sorry to hear your problems haven't gone away.
