Need to know if anyone out there with LPR also has stomach issues?
Mine started last August with burning stomach, and I have had 3 upper endoscopies, the first one showed gastritis, and the second one erosive duudenitis, but biopsies did not confirm gastritis, this gI wasn't prepared to do anything but to put me on nexium, so I changed GIs to get answers but when he scoped me because I was on carafate and nexium he didn't see anything. All this time though I was suffering from increased mucus in the throat which non of the GIs cared about.
I started having the feeling of the lum in throat wnd hoarsness of the voice, so I saw an ENT(2nd one), who is really clued on and when he checked my Larynx and throat said I definitely have LPR, but he said since I also have the stomach burning issues my GI needs to findout what is wrong.
Now I am at a loss, scared as what else is going to go wrong.
Just wondering if anyone out there had stomach problems like burning, and tenderness in the upper stomach area which then lead to LPR.
I am on 2 X 40mg nexiums a day, and still get the stomach burning.
