How long does it take Aciphex to work? - Acid Reflux / GERD Message Board

Hi everyone! I was wondering how long it typically takes Aciphex to work? I know that it depends on the individual, I just didn't know how long I should take it for before giving up. Today is day 5 and I've been taking 20mg twice a day. I think it's working a tiny bit, but I still have to take Zantac on top of it right now. Should I give it another couple weeks? Thanks!

I was looking for advice on how long I should give this med before giving up. Today is the 8th day and I find it's giving a little relief, but I still have to take zantac on top of it, which still doesn't take all of the burning away. Should I give it at least a month? Thanks.

Hi,

I started prevacid twice a day on August 8th and it took a good two weeks until I saw some improvement. My ENT dr. said it could take six to eight weeks for some people.
