good morning everyone
i am new to the boards and my name is gypsyboots (my puppies name). i went to ER last Saturday with a swelling feeling in my throat, thought i could not breathe and felt very sick. they did chest and neck xray all clear and sent me home on antibiotics, said i may have strep throat. went to ent doctor monday and he scoped my throat and i had very bad swelling of vocal cords and the muscle on them and it was giving me that throat closing sensation and my neck was very stiff and sore, glands swollen, etc. i'm back on omeprazole 20 mg x2 a day. Diagnosed again with LPR. I have never felt so sick in my life. Nausea all the time, gunk coming up my throat, choking at night, that tennis ball stuck in my throat and the neck ache the worst. These symptoms scare me very much. I had a flare up of this in 2005 and I had reflux in my throat then but not this bad. My question is, what do I eat? I ate frozen mixed vegetables last night with a little butter and salt and actually felt better this a.m. I'm just really frightened of these symptoms, they are soooo weird. I was scared I had a throat tumor or something. So, does anyone have any diet suggestions and/or care of this awful thing? Thanx ever so much for responding...
