hi i have recently been getting lower stomach cramps and thought that it may be due to the galviscon that i took before bed.....however i stopped this and took zantac before bed last night and still the same today..............im haivng stomach cramps and lose stools i guess its very much like IBS which i have NEVER had..............i have been on prevacidx2 a day for about 5 months for my LPR and the last month i have been getting this............could it be a side effct of the PPI? does anyone know?
i also have gastritis which im treating at the moment with homeopathics maybe its from the gastritis?
Zantac gave me this side effect too. Very badly! I had to stop it. It's the artificial sweetner in it for me. I have stabbing pains, diarrhea etc..no fun! The side effects are worse then the unpleasantness of the reflux.
