It probably depends upon what they use, but DH had one done in January and I am having one done in June. He received something called Diprivan (I think I spelled that correctly) and I will have the same thing. His experience was that he was wide awake as soon as they roused him. We went out to breakfast and two hours later were working out at the gym. He was told not to drive until the next day, but other than that he seemed fine. I have had my preliminary appointment and have been told basically the same thing about the sedation. I will not be able to drive, but should feel fine afterwards.
