Manuka honey, DGL tablets and Slippery Elm

I went to a health store yesterday and got all these products..I'm hoping it will help with my acid reflux problem since nothing else is doing the job. Any suggestions on the best way to take them, your experience, side effects etc....

Thanks.

Re: Manuka honey, DGL tablets and Slippery Elm

I'm a bit of a manuka honey evangelist around here. It's been a huge help to me. I've tried three different brands-Comvita, NZ Health Food Company and Honey New Zealand. They all helped, but the Honey New Zealand brand was outstandingly helpful.
I would take a tablespoon of it before going to bed.

Manuka honey has had the biggest positive effect on my GERD.

Re: Manuka honey, DGL tablets and Slippery Elm

I've never had LPR, just GERD.

I noticed a difference almost instantly-if not the first night, definitely the second. Before taking honey, I had heartburn when trying to fall asleep. There were nights that were definitely worse, but it was pretty much every night. When I was taking the Honey New Zealand brand, I could go months without GERD. The others also helped, but to a lesser extent.
