Anyone have Prilosec OTC withdrawal symptoms?

I quit for a week and my GERD came back bad-lump in throat, burning, hoarseness in morning, chest pain and palpitations. Thoughts?

you should not stop your medication without you doctor's need to see your doctor and have him/her reevaluate your situation before things gets worse.

you need to wean off the prilosec - from everyday to every other day or something like that. if you take 2 pills a day, take 1 pills a day. gradually wean yourself off and if it's difficult, take a zantac or pepsid to help. i am trying to do the same thing right now. good luck
