Prilosec with a laxative?

Can i take the 2 together?

Everytime i drink or attempt to eat i feel rumbling in my stomach and constant burping..

Doctor gave me prilosec , but ive had trouble with bowel movement because of the stress of this. Feeling a little naseua. And ugh can NOT eat. I ate yesterday for the first time really in days, felt so good about myself and now today i feel i wanna throw up or go to the bathroom but cant because of worrying.

Is it safe to combine both?

Re: Prilosec with a laxative?

My GI doc has me on both a PPI and a prescription laxative for IBS. I don't take them at the same time, but it isn't a problem taking both. If you are really unsure, talk to your local pharmacist. They typically give really good advice.
