My symptoms are burning in my stomach all the time. I just started getting hot flashes and sometimes cold. and just nausea all day. They put me on protonix and it seems to not be helping. I just am sick of feeling like this and am wondering why they took a biopsy of my stomach. Also sometimes after I eat I have to run to the bathroom not to throw up though. Anyone else having these problems? Im MISERABLE!
I had the same procedure only they biopsied my esophagus and stomach.
Turns out I have gastritis and esphoagitis. Also Barretts. (Non dysplasia)
Anyway, it's a normal procedure don't worry. I just wish that I could find something that works for my chest pain related to GERDS. I've tried nexium, prilosec, and now Zegerid. None are working. Good luck to you.
