| Trapped Air/Gas sensation between adams apple and middle of chest
I’m just wondering if there are any others out there that get the sensation that they have gas trapped between middle of chest and adams apple. Its hard to describe but its like a feeling you want to burp and let the gas out but a burp doesn’t relieve it. I know this typically can be symptom for people who get the nissan fundo surgery as when the stomach is wrap it creates a one way value the only lets pressure go down and not back up. I had this issue last year and amitriptyline eliminated it completely but med caused other side effects. At the time I also have some esophageal motility issues.
Now that I my Motility is 100% normal and I am completely off amitriptyline I am getting this trapped air/gas feeling back which is seems to replace my globus sensation.
The next step for me is to try weaning off my PPI of Prevacid 15mg twice a day but wondering if anyone else has experienced this and has been able to relieve it.
