Hi! I am 38 and suffering from acid reflux and am wondering if anyone has the same symptoms as me. My primary dr just put me on 40 mg of prilosec 2x daily but it's not doing much. I'm seeing a cardiologist to double check and make sure my heart isn't involved, and I need to make an appt to get scoped. In the meantime, I am going crazy with symptoms:
throat feels very hot, uncomfortable, but not typical "heartburn"
bumps come and go (like a small blister) in back of my mouth
throat pain, raw feeling that goes into my ear
feeling of gas in chest
chest pain, or a fluttery, nervous feeling in chest
feelking of something stuck in my throat
and my new, scary symptom is muscle fatigue. I was tested for anemia and thyroid and both came back OK, so is the muscle fatigue from reflux?? It's scary feeling this way.
