Gastroscopy(?) to find Barrett's doctor said
Excuse my english, but i visited my doctor and we agreed upon seeing if i have Barretts or not, but to my suprise he said that i should have a gastroscopy to look for it.
I then said, isn't it a Endoscopy and he said "No", and i couldn't really argue with him because i trust him as my doctor. What do you say about this? May they find Barretts if i have it on a Gastroscopy?
Also one second question if someone like to answer it.
May for example Omeprazol help create Barretts ( if i don't have it that is ), i'm sure i read it somewhere. We discussed if i wanted an operation or to be heavy medicated for the rest of my life, but i said to my doctor that Omeprazol doesn't help me, but will an operation help we if Omeprazol doesn't?
I have no heartburn, just cough and vomit attacks, all day long on bad days.
Thank you so much for your time! I really mean that.
