Cinnamon for acid reflux and LPR

Has anyone benefited chewing on cinnamon gum or cinnamon in any other form for relieving reflux?

Can it be bad for it?

I have read both.

Reflux triggers vary a lot from person to person. I find that cinnamon is usually ok, but that chewing gum is bad!

I suggest you try it and see what happens. Start with a small portion.

See I hears that chewing sugar free gum was ok as it produced saliva and helped neutralize acid but again, I agree with the fact that this varies from person to person. My thought is, it couldnt hurt any worse to try!

I shake cinnamon on my porridge every morning and have not noticed
any difference either way.
