I think I have Acid Reflux, I keep belching and I can't stop:/
In that case I also feel like I have like air in the back of my troat making it harder to sleep..Which means I won't be able to sleep tonight..
Anyone have any advice on how to get rid of it, for at least tonight?
So I can sleep normally..
Lots of belching is usually related to swallowing a lot of air. You may also be eating foods that produce extra gas.
Try to experiment with your diet, eat lean proteins and veggies for a few days and not a lot of carbs, chew your food thoroughly, and avoid carbonated drinks. See if that makes a difference. Also, you can take a little bit of Maalox to see if it helps get rid of the extra air, or try Beano when you eat to see if that also helps cut out the production of extra gas. if your GI system is producing extra gas is going to have to go out one way or the other if you know what I mean.
You may not have acid reflux disease, particularly if you don't feel burning, hoarseness or pain. If the symptoms continue, it is always good to ask your doctor. He or she may be able to prescribe something stronger to get rid of the extra gas.
Hope you feel better soon,
Rose

Maalox is a liquid medicine that works a lot like Tums. Some people find that it's more effective than Tums. Personally, I like Maalox. I also like Gaviscon, which is bigger chewable tablets that coat better than Tums. All of these medicines can probably be found in the same aisle of your local pharmacy.
